CONGERENCE FEATURES

Nancy G. spoke about how to price your work and of the many different ways to sell your work

both retail and wholesale.

Jean Jenkins gave a talk about the History of Enameling.  She invented her own story about the first woman who discovered enamel in the Bronze Age while stirring a fire at the beach!  A slide show of historical examples followed.

Judy F. demonstrated the way she attaches enamels, copper foil, tacks and found objects to wood 2 x 4 cut outs.  With the desired shape she replicated old champleve' reliquary boxes and  fanciful cars on wheels of jade or clock works that  have been juried into shows.  She showed us many one of a kind creations.

After the Conference, everyone met at a local Chinese Restaruant in Palo Alto where the eating and the socializing was enjoyed by all.  Thank you Stephanie and Sandra for your work planning and organizing the NCEG CONFERENCE 2005.
