Artist Statement:
"Modern enamels have just enchanted me from the first time I saw them at the craft fairs.
I would go from booth to booth seeking them out.
A girlfriend finally showed me how to get started making my own and I have been learning about enameling every since.
I love to look into the enamels, the depth and the sparkle fascinate me . Cloisonné seems to be my favorite.
I enjoy wearing my enamels almost every day.
I am happy to think that someone hundreds of years from now might come across one of my enamel works of art and enjoy it as much as I do." - Gay
